Many years ago, Nicholas Assef, who is probably best known these days as the founder of Lincoln Crowne & Company Pty. Limited, a prominent investment firm in the Australian and South East Asian markets, studied very hard at Harvard Business School, so that he could obtain a Post Graduate degree in Valuation. While that might be enough for many people, he also managed to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester in New York. Nicholas also has a Bachelor of Law Honors degree that he earned from Bond University Law School and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice that he earned from the University of Technology Sydney.
These days, he is the Executive Director and Senior Analyst for Lincoln Crowne. He has no particular specialty; the fact is, he has a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience in many financial areas, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, valuation, growth strategies, shareholder rights, and strategic due diligence. Over the past quarter century, Nicholas Assef has gained an excellent reputation, based on his extensive body of work in the corporate world, the legal profession and even the academic world.
Another reputation Nicholas Assef has earned is one as a “shrewd negotiator.” This comes in part from his ability and willingness to apply unusual strategies to negotiations, including those based on “game theory.” That is because Nicholas is keenly aware that the clients who hire a firm like Lincoln Crowne do so because they want a lot more than typical counsel and advice. They would like desired outcome. That is why he tends to use an approach that is best described as “tenacious” and he also provides his clients with specially designed solutions that maximize shareholder value.
